Our child now married,

As a parent I am so proud,

I’m happy you found someone,

Someone you can call your own,

In this lovely time,

I have a few words to say,

Treat your partner with respect,

And they will give it back,

You may go through rough times,

And you may argue,

But know this, my child,

Us as parents, as your parents,

We will always be there to help you.

We are so pround of who you became,

And our love for you will never change.
