Laying awake in bed,

In the silence of the night,

A secret is held,

Hidden within a box,

Just out of sight,

Hidden within our cupboard,

A gift I hope you treasure,

Wanting it to be placed on your finger,

But I can't show you yet,

Not now anyway,

For the time is not right,

But I'm planning on showing it to you someday.
