Leprechaun.

Sitting under a tree,

Quite content and happy,

When suddenly I see,

A shadow going past me,

From behind a tree,

I saw a little green man,

That's commonly known as a leprechaun,

He being short and stout,

Not taking my eyes off him,

For he would run off, no doubt,

Lifting him up to eye level,

And asking for his gold,

He told me multiple places it could be,

Under a rock, stump, or tree,

I’ll show you if you agree,

Putting him to the ground,

Stupid me for letting him free,

Taking my eyes off him,

He disappeared without a sound.
