Love Birds

Love is like a bird,

Their eyes will keep you in lured,

The quills feel silky & smooth,

Just like your hair all unkempt,

Scratchy and in their youth,

Love is a wonderful thing,

To see two people flying together,

Under all this unwanted weather,

Your wings are amazing things,

Sheltering me from my insecurity,

And every bad thing it brings,

The two people like to soar high,

Right up in amongst the clouds and the sky,

Be loved by one another,

Trusted by father, mother sister or brother,

So, love is like a bird,

Lovely to be admired,

To be love birds.
