True Courage

The courage that people hold,

It scares us all,

and the mask people try to up hold,

however wide or however tall,

brings us to tears,

Once broken, we feel vulnerable,

Then, trying to repair,

An image, however horrible,

We see it weakening us,

But in a matter of fact,

It strengthens us,

as through those cracks,

Love, courage belief fit in.

That's where stress and fear,

even fear to go,

Believe in the power you hold within,

It may take many years,

For you to know,

So take the first step,

Instead of running from your fear,

Just accept your mistake,

And you'll see it clearer.
